Photographing a Marvel NFT comic cover without lying to your future self
Phone glare turns a foil Marvel NFT comic into a white rectangle. When we build variant notes, we ask collectors to tilt the device until the costume colors return, then crop out chat bubbles from friends.
We name the file with series, issue, and a three-word treatment, not “IMG_8841.” Future-you will not remember that 8841 was the red sky version.
If the reader overlays a UI badge, we take a second screenshot after hiding the badge if the app allows it. The ledger prefers the cleaner plate.
This habit does not prove scarcity. It only keeps two covers from merging in a folder called “marvel stuff.”
