A provenance sentence that still makes sense after a move
“Got it from a guy” is not provenance. When we annotate Marvel NFT comics, we want a name or a handle, a month, and whether it was a gift, a trade, or a primary drop.
If money is mentioned, we still refuse to turn the ledger into a brokerage blotter. A collector may pencil a Binance-compatible funding word in the margin. That word is a memory aid, not a pipeline.
After a move, the sentence is what you still have when chat apps change. Nok’s birthday notes, for example, named the aunt and the title, not a transaction hash.
Never paste a recovery phrase into a provenance cell. If someone asks you to, stop the session.
